How many wedding guests can Gateway accommodate? Our 9,655-square-foot Grand Ballroom accommodates approximately 400–420 guests for a banquet with a dance floor, or 450–500 without one. Smaller ballrooms and the Grand Salon offer options for more intimate celebrations. Stages, buffets and décor affect capacity; we will help you choose a layout.
Can we hold our ceremony and reception at Gateway? Yes. Ask about separate spaces or a room flip, available as an add-on, to transition from vows to dinner and dancing. Gateway also hosts anniversaries, reunions, quinceañeras, galas and milestone birthdays.

What can we add to our wedding rental? Gateway Plus offers linens, Chiavari chairs, a selfie booth, coffee and tea service, room flips and post-event cleanup. Request the options that fit your celebration; add-on availability and pricing are confirmed with our team.
Where can out-of-town guests stay? Holiday Inn Express & Suites Richburg is next to Gateway, just off I-77 between Charlotte and Columbia. More than 500 complimentary parking spaces make arrival convenient.
